Redis Open Source has been tested on the following platforms:

  • Ubuntu 20.04 (Focal Fossa), 22.04 (Jammy Jellyfish), and 24.04 (Noble Numbat).
  • Rocky Linux 8.10 and 9.5.
  • AlmaLinux 8.10 and 9.5.
  • Debian 11 (Bullseye) and 12 (Bookworm).
  • macOS 13 (Ventura), 14 (Sonoma), and 15 (Sequoia).

Follow the links below for installation instructions for your OS and distribution.

While you can install Redis Open Source on any of the platforms listed below, you might also consider using Redis Cloud by creating a free account. Redis 8 is not yet available on Redis Cloud.
